Starting the family Christmas tradition

After Holly's Christmas party we decided to start the family tradition of going and seeing the lights on temple square. The new displays were breath taking!!!!!! The kids enjoyed it if you can't tell from the picture.

I'm a big girl now....

Well the time has finally come, and boy is Cali so excited!!!! this is the first year she has been able to have her own Christmas tree in her room. She picked out the tree skirt, star and the purple ornaments. She even decorated the tree all by her self. She is ready for Santa.

Halloween Candy.......

Ledger was playing with his Halloween candy this morning trying to get our Yorkie to fetch so he threw it in his kennel. Needless to say the dog was to smart for that. Ledger decided to show the dog how to go the candy. What a cute little boy.

Kids say the funniest things.....

As the family is walking through the pumpkin walk Cali stops in front of this pumpkin that hadn't been cleaned out all the way and said" Mommy this pumpkin still has its "nuts" (pumpkin seeds), you couldn't help but to start laughing.

Pumpkin Walk

Cali was sent home with a flier from kiddie college asking for us to help help her carve it for the pumpkin walk display. The pumpkin wasn't bad at all even though her design had a lot of small lines. What we weren't ready for was the hour and twenty minute wait in line just to get to the entrance to where the Pumpkin walk started. 12-1300 carved pumpkins lit up was quite impressive. We even found her pumpkin which made the night that much more special.

We are so blessed to have these two in our lives. Even though they have their moments there isn't a cuter moment than when Cali and Ledger give each other hugs and kisses.

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch this past Saturday and boy did they have have fun!!!!

The changing of the co-pilot

Well , It has happened.... For the past several years Cali has been Damon's Mowing partner / co-pilot, that is up until Thursday night when we put ledger in Cali's seat to see what he would do. Needless to say he thought it was the coolest thing to go for a ride on the lawnmower. He loved it so much that when Damon took him off he threw a fit. Move over Cali you brother wants a turn.

She has grown up so fast, and now starts her first day of school.....

Cali is so excited to start her first day of school in Ms. Luann's class. She even picked out her outfit that she wanted to wear. We love you Calvyn !!!!

End of Summer Fun!

Damon had a business trip to California planned so we thought we'd make a family vacation out of it. So we drove12 hours for a day and a half of fun just to turn around and drive 12 hours back!! Most people would think we were crazy to do this as a couple but to do it with a 1 and 4 yr old was just dumb!! It may have been a crazy thought but the kids did great until we were about 3 hours form home when we had a tire pressure light come on, Ledge had a blowout which resulted in us just leaving his clothes on the side of the road, and to finish it off just as we got off the exit for home Cali screams "MOM I'M GONNA THROW UP!" Yep that's how it ended with me looking back to see her with a bucket throwing up! Did I mention she forgot to take the lid off the bucket! needless to say we were glad to be home. but as I looked at these pics and the memories we made IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Holly decided we would start a family tradition by going shopping at the Park city outlets the whole weekend for school clothes. Holly says , " We cleaned House up there"!!!!!! After a hard day of shopping Cali was able to go swimming , in her opinion that was he best part of the whole trip.

Ledger was picking up on all the teenage girls while in Park city. While all the girls passed by him he would wave and say "Hi ya". The reactions of the girls was unbelievable, They would wave back and some would even shake his hand saying " He is so Cute"!!!
Oh boy are we in for it when he gets older.

We have a new torch runner in our family

Ledger thinks its the coolest thing when Cali takes him for a ride on her scooter. It is a site to see. He holds onto the mirrors while Cali actually does the steering. Cali is constantly laughing because Ledger is just making all these funny sounds as their cruisin down the sidewalk.

Ledger took another big step towards his independence. As you can see he pulled himself up on to the rocking chair and then he grabbed the top of the chair and started rocking while standing. He is so funny.

May 5,2010 @ 6:25pm Ledger turned from a baby to a toddler...... He is officially walking and getting into everything!!!!! And yes he doesn't want Mom to feed him anymore. As you can see he loves food!!!!!

He figured it out all by himself. Hearing Grandpa Brad laughing as Ledger was tearing into his cake made the moment even more memorable.

Because our little princess is 2" to short, she wasn't able to ride alot of the rides so we are going to start planning the next trip. Maybe Disney World this time or the Disney Crusie would also be fun. The smile on her face make it all so worth it !!!!!!

Cali and Kenni had dinner with the disney princesses. Cali wanted to get an authentic Disney Sleeping Beauty dress so she could wear it to her dinner how could you not but agree after seening the smile on her face. She also got to show Sleeping Beauty how pretty her dress was when she did spins.
