We're Expanding things!!!!

It's true we are finally expanding our FAMILY!!!! In may of 2009 we are expecting our little boy Ledger. We are soo excited and Cali is too. However, I'm not sure she really gets what's going on since the other day she was looking for "baby Ledger" and when I told her he was in my stomach she looked at me like I was crazy. And tonight when my stomach growled she said "Mom, it's baby Ledger!" Anyway hopefully she won't go into too much shock when he gets here and she is no longer the only one trying to steal the show!!

Our little monkey!!!

Well we had another great Halloween thanks to our wonderful family. Cali loved her monkey costume and had so much fun learning about "Trick or Treating." It is so fun watching her grow up. She was old enough this year to participate in musical chairs and other party games. I love to hear her laugh. Damon was also way excited to be able to go trick or treating with Cal. His bubble burst a little when Cali was done after only one street!!! I told him to be greatful because in a few years you'll be ready to come home and she'll still want to go for another block!

Maryland Trip

We had a great time in Maryland visiting Damon's parents and seeing the ocean. Cali had a lot of fun getting to know her grandparents. We went for their 25th anniversary party, and Cali was a hit! The party was alot of fun and it was also nice for me to get to know D's fam and friends from back home.

We had a great time just spending time together as a family. We visited the National Harbor and Cali loved seein all the big boats. We also went back to some of the places Damon took me on my first visit to MD. Because of the anniversary party Cali thought everything was a party and was convinced that our trip to the ocean was a "Beach Party." Needless to say she had a lot of fun collecting seashells for "mermaid necklaces" for her and Keni. She also loved "skipping" rocks with daddy.

As good as it is to get away it is always nice to get home again. I can't wait for our next adventure!

The Bartlett News......

So we have heard lots about this and we figured this would be great for our extended family living outside of Utah, so we thought we would give this a try. Please give us all the advice you have so that we can really make this enjoyable for ourselves as well as everyone that takes the time to view our page.
Well, As of today (September 17,2008) we are exactly two weeks away from leaving to head back east to see Calvyn's Grandparents in Maryland who haven't seen her in person for over a year........ Boy are they in for a rude awakening. She has grown so much since they last saw her that she now reminds us daily when she sees an airplane that she is going to be getting on one to see her Grandma and Grandpa. Holly and Damon are very much looking to get away even if it is for a short period of time ,but with it being Damon's Mom and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary , the party that they will being throwing is sure to be something not to miss out on.
